LYG CEO Albert Li was invited to give an memoir lecture at Fuzhou University.

Recently (April 16), at the invitation of the International Joint Laboratory for Health Information Intelligent Perception of Fuzhou University, Mr. Albert Li, CEO of LYG, gave a memoir report on "Modern Integrated Circuit Industry Development and Technological Process" at an expert lecture held by the School of Physics and Information of Fuzhou University. More than 100 people from academic circles, industry representatives and students attended the meeting on site.

The college leaders who attended the lecture included Zheng Zhigang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Physics and Information of Fuzhou University, Professor Wei Rong Shan, Vice Dean of the School of Microelectronics of Fuzhou University, Yin Yadong, Associate Researcher, Gao Yueming, Director of the Department of Electronic Information Engineering of the School of Physics and Information of Fuzhou University.

The college leaders warmly welcomed the visiting guests, including LYG CEO Albert Li, Associate Professor Wei Mengyu, Director of the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory of Macau University, and Associate Professor Pan Shaoheng, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Simulation and Mixed Signal Ultra Large Scale Integrated Circuits of Macau University. They also introduced the situation of the School of Physics and Information and the School of Microelectronics in terms of discipline construction, research conditions, employment and further education of graduates. They hoped to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in academic exchanges and industrial guidance.

At the meeting, Albert Li, CEO, gave an academic report on "The Development and Technological Process of Modern Integrated Circuit Industry", incorporating Chinese philosophical thoughts such as "Separation is bound to merge, and merger is bound to separate", "In martial arts, speed is the key to victory", and "Integrating virtuality and reality, combining software and hardware" into his report. He introduced the development of the entire integrated circuit industry, technology, and applications from a macro perspective. He also pointed out that LYG responded to the group's "3+3" industrial layout by closely focusing on three key directions: AI computing power upgrade, medical health services, and robotics applications for chip design and application services. The company actively promotes school-enterprise cooperation and achievement transformation. The establishment of the Research Institute of Science and Technology, Zhuhai University of Macau - LYG Semiconductor Inc. Joint Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the "Joint Laboratory") in Hengqin Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, where the company's headquarters is located, is an important step towards driving innovation and development through industry-university-research collaboration. It is hoped that the Joint Laboratory will take advantage of its central hub position in Hengqin Greater Bay Area to expand cooperation opportunities with various scientific research forces.

After the meeting, experts and teachers visited the International Joint Laboratory for Health Information Intelligent Perception of Fuzhou University. Albert Li had technical communications with various research groups and put forward suggestions for industrialization of bioelectronics applications. Speaking of the future development direction of chip technology, Albert Li said that computing power is currently a hot topic, but we should also attach importance to the development of sensors. There is still room for artificial intelligence to truly become productive in terms of its ability to perceive the outside world. The integration of computing power, sensing, action, and information transmission is the key to the implementation of AIOT in digital health applications.

This event strengthened the communication between the Research Institute of Science and Technology, Zhuhai University of Macau -LYG Joint Laboratory and the research team of Fuzhou University, further opened up new space for future scientific research cooperation and talent cultivation in biomedical engineering and intelligent healthcare between the two sides, and provided more opportunities for teachers and students to exchange ideas and learn.
