The second summer chip design bootcamp of Lingyange continues to heat up

In July, during the summer vacation, a group of serious and eager college students used this brief holiday to participate in the second classroom. They followed the big names in the semiconductor industry to swim in the ocean of knowledge and embark on a different journey of learning knowledge.

Q1: What is the purpose of participating in the camp?

Student A said:Participating in this bootcamp is to systematically understand the chip manufacturing process and chip market, connect the knowledge learned in books with practical applications, and facilitate future career choices and development. Through this period of study and the explanation of the teachers in class, I have connected the knowledge learned in books during college with the actual chip manufacturing, making the career direction I want to engage in clearer.

Through weeks of learning, I have gained a deeper understanding of industry information, learned professional skills required by engineers, as well as future employment prospects and related semiconductor technologies, laying a solid foundation for future employment in these positions.Gain knowledge related to semiconductors, the friendship of study partners, and memories of Zhuhai residency.

Q2: What do you think is the most valuable/memorable thing in this learning process?

Studeng A said: The most meaningful thing is to participate in the characteristic morning reading session every day, which helps us understand the relevant situation in the chip industry and provides guidance for us to understand industry news.

Studeng B said : I think the most valuable thing is to communicate with the speakers in class or after class. Because the speakers have been engaged in the semiconductor industry for a long time, communicating with them can help me learn a lot of knowledge that cannot be learned from books, and also help me better grasp industry trends through their perspective.

Student C said :The most memorable thing is to understand corporate culture and Albert (Li Hongjun, vice chairman and CEO of Lingyange) taught us a saying "One step ahead". This culture is not only helpful for current learning knowledge, but also helpful for my future career. Think one step ahead and do one step ahead.

What do you think of Lingyange's camp?

Student A said: I think Lingyange, as a company, actively assumes social responsibility and holds camps to build a good industry ecosystem. The camp itself is designed to impart knowledge of the semiconductor industry, help us who are about to enter society understand industry development and technical details, help us make our own career plans, deliver high-quality talents to the semiconductor industry, and at the same time promote the healthy and rapid development of semiconductors in China. I am relatively lucky to participate in this event. In my opinion, as an undergraduate student, having such a comprehensive opportunity to understand the semiconductor industry is very rare. During my school days, I have always yearned for the semiconductor industry. This bootcamp provides me with a very good platform to understand all aspects of the industry, which has brought a very positive impact on my own career planning.

Through weeks of learning, I have gained a deeper understanding of industry information, learned professional skills required by engineers, as well as future employment prospects and related semiconductor technologies, laying a solid foundation for future employment in these positions. From my personal perspective, this camp undoubtedly helped me "revitalize" the book knowledge taught by my school teachers. I can connect with relevant industry needs and gradually apply them flexibly. I am very grateful for this experience of participating in the bootcamp.

What is the influence of the bootcamp on you?

Student A said:Deepen my understanding of the semiconductor industry, understand the current development status and trends of the industry, and clarify future goals.

Student B said : Through weeks of learning, I have gained a deeper understanding of industry information, learned professional skills required by engineers, as well as future employment prospects and related semiconductor technologies, laying a solid foundation for future employment in these positions.

Student C said:In the process of learning at the bootcamp, I still need to work harder to achieve my goals based on my current knowledge. Every day of the bootcamp further deepens my understanding of the semiconductor industry and improves my various abilities.
