To avoid obstacles in the life of a sweeping robot, or to confirm the purchase behavior of an unmanned store automatic checkout, 3D measurement is required. At present, there are three 3D measurement technologies on the market: structured light, binocular stereo imaging and ToF. In structured light and binocular stereo imaging, each frame image needs to be processed to obtain the depth data, which requires high computing power for the chip. ToF is to directly obtain the depth data of the measured object by calculating the flight time of light, and does not need to rely on chip computing power, so the high reaction speed and low computing power requirements of ToF technology become product advantages.
