LYG TOF Series Products

TOF (time-of-flight) technology is a method of measuring the physical characteristics (such as time, phase, and energy) of waves (including light waves, electromagnetic waves, and sound waves) as they travel through space and reflect back, in order to calculate spatial distances.

Lingyange’s TOF products are distance sensing modules based on optical time-of-flight technology, including single-point dTOF modules, array TOF modules (depth cameras), and RGB-D cameras (D represents depth) that combine RGB and TOF sensors.

Lingyange’s TOF products mainly use infrared lasers of 850nm or 940nm wavelengths as light source, which not only ensures human eye safety, but also minimizes interference of ambient light on the IR light waves.

In addition to the hardware modules, Lingyange also provides SDK or API for the TOF module to facilitate customer's integration development. For specific customer needs, Lingyange can further provide customized design services such as fundamental control, underlying low-level algorithms, lens calibration, etc., to maximize the performance of the TOF module.
