The intelligent recognition shopping cart system based on Lingyange’s 3D ToF module, with high-performance computing (HPC) server in the back-end, can elevate intelligent shopping to a higher level.
Features of this solution:
- When the shopping cart is launched, the 3D TOF camera will form a sensing curtain with depth data above the cart to detect items that the user has placed in it;

- When an item passes through the sensing curtain, the recognition system is triggered, and the RGB global shutter camera starts capturing pictures, extracts feature images, and uploads them;

- The backend high-performance computing (HPC) server calculates the detailed information of the product through the comparison of image features, and then feeds it back to the shopping cart terminal to achieve a convenient and easy shopping experience;
